Wait — does it actually throw my phone?
No. It lifts your phone and lands it on a padded surface. A copper plate brakes the motion in proportion to how fast it's moving, so the landing is slower and softer than dropping it on a nightstand. It's a controlled catch, not a toss.
What if it damages my phone?
The capture is engineered to keep impact under 100 g, and the Shield case absorbs the rest. Our promise is simple: if we ever break something, that's on us — we replace it.
Does it work with my phone?
Any phone that supports MagSafe or Qi2 works — through the Shield case that comes in the box. That covers iPhone and the major Android models. Your phone never needs a special app running to be caught.
Is the magnetic field safe?
The pulse is designed to sit inside the ICNIRP safety envelope and is measured in a certified lab. It's brief, directed, and momentary — a short burst aimed at the plate in your case, not a field you live inside.
What if I need my phone right now?
A double-tap on the unit releases it instantly. So does a tap in the app, or a schedule you set ("free after 6am"). It holds your attention, not your phone hostage.
How is it installed?
It mounts to the door frame at handle height and plugs into a nearby outlet. A few minutes, no electrician, no rewiring. Renters welcome.
